Why is it that after Nara kills off a hero, he will do INSURMOUNTABLE damage directly to your HP between turns?

Insurmountable means at the end of his turn he's did 300+ damage and then 315 damage at the end of my turn. So basically I lost 600+ HP during my turn. Kinda ridiculous would you not say?
